Our school’s budget relies on fundraising to keep it’s tuition low and still maintain our high quality curriculum, staff, and facilities. This year, we will be holding an online auction beginning on April 17th and ending on May 2nd. Bidding will be open to incoming, current and alumni parents as well as their family and friends. We appreciate your support in making this the most successful fundraising auction we’ve had yet.
We hope for everyone’s participation to meet our goal; the contribution of each family makes a difference.
Each enrolled family is expected to donate something worth a minimum of $50 to our online auction. This may be a physical item, a service you can provide, or a “Buy-a-Seat” activity or event. Below are some ideas for things you may choose to donate:
VACATIONS: Vacation homes, hotel stays, airline tickets/mileage
“BUY-A-SEAT” ACTIVITIES: Dinner parties, cocktail parties, themed parties, wine tastings, kids’ parties, playdates, class reunions
FOOD & DINING: Restaurant gift certificates, bottles of wine, CSA memberships, catering
CHILDREN’S INTERESTS: Camps, toy/book store gift certificates, music/swimming/art/drama lessons, birthday parties, clothing, amusement park tickets
HEALTH & BEAUTY: Spa packages, facials, manicure/pedicures, massages, makeup, skin care products
EVENTS & MEMBERSHIPS: Theater tickets, sporting event tickets, ballet tickets, concert tickets, movie passes, comedy show tickets, museum memberships
SPORTS & FITNESS: Personal training sessions, exercise equipment, gym memberships, dance lessons, yoga classes, Pilates classes, sports memorabilia
HOME & GARDEN: Electronics, interior decorating, furnishings, antiques, artwork, cookware
FASHION & ACCESSORIES: Retail gift certificates, jewelry, handbags
SPECIAL SKILLS & TALENTS: Cooking/sewing/knitting lessons, handmade items, photography packages, architectural/landscaping/woodworking services, workplace tours, babysitting, meal trains, baked goods
With the exception of antiques or memorabilia, all items should be in new and unused condition. Not sure what to donate? Cash gifts are always appreciated! Donate to our school today!
To donate, please fill out our ITEM DONATION form by March 29th. If you are donating a physical item, please deliver it to school or contact us to arrange for pick up no later than March 29th.
We rely on a suggested $250 donation from every family over the course of the year to keep our school running with all the resources, equipment and quality teachers that make our school special to all of us. In addition to your $50 bid item, a fun and easy way to meet this goal is to bid on items yourself and participate in our raffle. You may also choose to fundraise outside the school community--employers, grandparents, neighbors and friends are invited to purchase raffle tickets, make donations to the school, and bid on specific items in the online auction. No donation is too small, and each one is vitally important in helping us reach our fundraising goals.
All donations and matching donations are welcome anytime. SPNS is a 501(c)(3) organization, Tax ID # 23-7426267. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
